Is the name of this book a trick? Of course, it is a trick. The whole point is for you to pick it up, because how can a book be useless, and be so bold as to claim its own uselessness outright on its own cover? That gets people curious; that is the whole trick.

It gets your soul to question something, to spark an interest. The whole life that you have had until this moment of time created the exact personality in you that would be curious to pick up exactly this book, because somehow you are drawn to paradoxical, weird, and somewhat funny things in life.

Perhaps the answer to all of your life problems, questions, and everything lies within this stupid book? Well, yes. It does absolutely lie within the pages of this book.

Now, I can go on explaining why this book is going to be so great for the next five chapters, and how “I”, the author, possess the necessary authority and skills to impart all of this wisdom upon you.

Then, when you are convinced of my godly superiority on this planet, through sheer volume of words and my smart statements, I will proceed to uncover some convoluted, smart, tricky, 72-step system (Of course, I will try to sell it to you for a gazillion dollars, and make a cult of it) that will solve all your life problems.

Instead, I can tell you that the answer to everything lies on page 142, line 6. It is NOT 42. It is exactly two words long. Two simple, but very powerful words. Now, a choice lies before you. Do you want the long version or the short version?

You can skip ahead to page 141, line 6, and read the two magic words. Change your life forever, and be done with all the suffering. Alternatively, you can read each page very carefully and arrive at the same conclusion.

Both options are equally valid; the choice is yours, my friend. As for me, I just love writing, I love life, and I hope that this writing will help some people in the process. So, I don’t mind if you like it the short way or the long way. Let’s begin.
